From the moment they entered the room, just 7 days prior to their wedding, I knew we were going to have a lot of fun. Gwen has a vibrance, a zest for life thrown in with her carefree attitude, and Mayo laughs alongside her enjoying the fruits of this wedding that was booked and planned from the other side of the globe.

A few weeks earlier over Skype I had asked Gwen how she was handling the stress of planning a wedding in Adelaide, whilst living in London. Booking venues’ she hadn’t even seen, and enlisting friends and family to do the ground work, styling with flowers and props she couldn’t oversee. In her nonchalant way; a way that embodies Gwen so perfectly; she said, “I knew that booking a wedding overseas wasn’t going to be easy, and that there would be things I would not be able to control. I therefore decided early on that I just had to let things go and trust that it will work out”.

And so it did.

The room looked beautiful with native flowers, Big white embossed balloons, and the gorgeous chalkboard exclaiming “And they lived happily ever after”, by the talented Nutmeg Creative. The exquisite Carvery Menu, which we had worked on together to actualize Gwen & Mayo’s dream wedding fare, was launched at this stunning event, and their guests couldn’t have been happier! The colourful dips, the boneless chicken with gravy, and sumptuous roasted leg of lamb among a sea of veggies and crunchy potatoes. It is a menu that makes your mouth water and we are thrilled we were able to work with Gwen to create it!

Gwen & Mayo’s wedding was such a joyous affair. Friends and family had travelled across continents to celebrate with the fun-loving gorgeous couple, and it isn’t hard to see why. Their vivaciousness shines through in their stunning photos, and if there was a wedding not to be missed; this was it.
