Steve and Laena… What a love story! And what a privilege to be apart of their beautiful day. Two families became one as not only Steve and Laena shared their vows, but their three boys went from being friends, to being brothers, as they stood by their parents’ side at the altar. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house!

These photos by Nathan Johnston of Johnst Photography capture perfectly the incredible sense of family, joy and fun that was at the centre of this day. From the intimate and personal ceremony in front of our one-of-a-kind church doors, to the reception with endless food and laughter on stunning long tables, it was one of those weddings we will always remember for being so full of love and family values.

TEN22 Creative was in full swing as we had the honour of styling the reception space. Our timeless white chiffon runners paired with our trio of pillar candles made for a beautiful centrepiece to the array of colourful food that just kept on coming all night long!

One of our favourite moments of the night came when Steve and Laena sat their boys down for a surprise of gifts - including matching Sonic the Hedgehog t-shirts! As you can see, the excitement was felt throughout the room! The surprises just kept on coming, as Laena surprised her new husband with a brand new guitar to celebrate their mutual love of music.

We had so much fun with this beautiful couple and their loved ones. Steve and Laena (and your boys!) we wish you a lifetime full of love, laughter, joy and music.

Here’s what Steve + Laena had to say about their day with us:

“Our wedding truly was everything we had hoped for and so much more. Everything about it was just perfect. We are so, so grateful for such a memorable and beautiful night. Nat - thank you for the way you so graciously gave me space to settle my heart and for just being so professional and warm! The food was honestly just incredible and so yum, everyone commented about how generous the servings were. We just couldn’t be more thrilled! You guys are incredible. Thank you.”
